- Lunch: Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at a scenic spot in the park. Find a shady spot by the river or lake to relax and refuel before continuing your adventures.
- Afternoon: Spend the afternoon exploring the park further. Visit the Forest Heritage Center Museum to learn about the area’s history and wildlife, or rent a paddleboat or canoe to explore the park’s waterways.
- Evening: Return to your cabin for a cozy dinner together. Cook a family meal in the cabin’s fully equipped kitchen or grill out on the deck. Relax with a glass of wine on the deck after the kids go to bed.

- Late Morning: Head into town and visit Beaver’s Bend Mining Co. to mine for kid-centric day of education and fun. Mine for gemstones, discovery dinosaurs and more.
- Lunch: Enjoy a lakeside picnic lunch with sandwiches, snacks, and refreshing drinks. Take a break from the water to refuel and relax on the shore.
- Afternoon: Head over to the Beaver’s Bend Depot and Trailrides for a few hours and enjoy a train ride and a pony ride for some incredible memories. If a guided trail ride is more your speed, kids under 4 can ride with an adult, while kids 5+ can ride solo.
- Evening: Return to the cabin in the late afternoon for some downtime. Let the kids unwind with a movie while you prepare dinner.
- Dinner: Cook dinner together in the cabin’s kitchen or grill out on the deck. Enjoy a family meal and share stories from the day’s adventures.
Day 3: Nature Crafts and Departure
- Morning: Enjoy a leisurely morning at the cabin. Let the kids sleep in or spend some time playing in the yard or exploring the nearby woods.

- Afternoon: Spend your final afternoon in Broken Bow relaxing and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Take a family walk or bike ride around the neighborhood, or simply enjoy some quiet time together at the cabin.
